Here is your chance to make a positive and animated impact on the Employee Experience at Panorama! Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, this role will focus on Leadership training facilitation for Panorama Mountain Resorts (PMR) management group and emerging leaders and assist in the talent acquisition of our Panorama Team.

Essential Functions:

Panorama Mountain Resorts Talent Acquisition:
Conduct screening interviews using behavioral descriptors and cultural fit interview techniques to fill the available positions at the resort
Develop recruiting strategies as the needs of our business evolves and changes
Follow-up with Managers and supervisors regarding hiring decisions
Work with EE on job fairs and recruitment drives as necessary
Meet with department managers and supervisors prior to seasonal ramp-up to review job postings and descriptions
Forecast hiring needs throughout the year
Coordinate candidate pool creation with Employee Experience
Create offer letters and follow through with offer letter process and prearrival communication.

Training and Development:
Develop, Implement and facilitate a leadership training program in line with the company’s core values.
Work with local colleges to coordinate training programs outside of the company’s training program
Source out training funding from government programs e.g. B.C. Job Grant.
Provide a database/resource guide for departmental specific training.
Provide career guidance to all employees and ensure each department has succession planning in place.
In conjunction with the Risk Manager and the Health and Safety coordinator coordinate Health and Safety training (online BBP, WHMIS etc.)
Assist in the research and facilitation of leadership and orientation training sessions.
Assist in EE administration desk coverage as needed

Employee Experience:
Assist in organization and attend all staff functions.
Manage internal transfers to ensure no business unit is treated unfairly.
Ensure all managers are abiding by laws outlined in the employment standard act for BC.
Drive EOS participation.

It is expected the successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree; however, experience, accomplishment and overall fit are stronger considerations than educational credentials.
2 years Management Experience
Strong leadership skills, able to communicate clearly, self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Experience in the field of recruitment and selection, human resources background preferred
Hospitality/resort experience an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, must be able to multi-task, and can work with minimal supervision.
