You are responsible for working with the Snow School Director in the management of all aspects of the snow school business. This role will be essential to the creation of a culture of learning and development for staff and guest alike.

Essential Functions:
• Work with director in the implementation and administration of snow school programs
• Accountable for the daily operations of the snow school and to provide coverage in the Director’s absence
• Insure that snow school service philosophy is upheld
• Accountable for the efficient scheduling of staff to meet business levels, service promise and wage to revenue targets.
• Work with Panorama managers to arrange scheduling of non-teaching shifts
• Accountable for payroll
• Supervise the direction of the snow school desk staff, lead hands, and program coordinators
• Conduct daily staff meetings and oversee, plan, and facilitate staff training programs
• Confer regularly with staff to assign and review work assignments and services
• Evaluate programs/activities and resolve problems
• Participate in management planning sessions including programming, business plans, and goals and objectives
• Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance, equipment, supplies & amenities
• Teach as required based on guest needs and business levels
• As a valued member of the management team, you may be required for duties within the department but outside of your regular role

Experience/Requirements:
• Two years proven experience in management role in the snow sports industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (excel, word, power point, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, supervise, and provide necessary direction to staff and guests
• Ability to take initiative, be highly organized, effectively communicate, and manage groups
• Proven ability to lead by example, high integrity, and adaptable
• Able to work evening and weekends when required
• CSIA/ CASI Level 3 or better Certification is an asset.
