As a Guest Service Agent & Room Attendant at Wood Mountain Lodge, you will offer our guests first class service in a relaxed informal setting. Your intimate knowledge of our lodge, facilities, and services will allow guests to feel at ease and create a memorable experience.

Job Description:
Core Job Responsibilities & Duties (but are not limited to the following):

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Provide guests with verbal or written information about the facilities, services, room types and rates, and local attractions
Handle guest arrivals and departures
Provide luggage assistant for guests as requested
Responsible for setting up breakfast buffet and cleaning after breakfast time.
Assisting servers and food and beverage management when required and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for cleaning lodge common area and guest rooms, providing daily cleaning services and other housekeeping needs of guests so that incoming guests will be given the impression they are the first occupants of the lodge/room.
Clean lodge and rooms in accordance with the standards put forward and described within the checklists and explained during training. To meet the timelines set forward by management for servicing and cleaning.
To work in a team environment where teamwork is essential.
Deliver the best possible Guest & Employee Experience each and every time for both Guests as well as co-workers.

Be of legal working age and in possession of a legal Canadian work permit
A secondary school diploma is preferred
Previous housekeeping and guest service experience is an asset
Food Safe Certification and previous food and beverage experience an asset
Valid Drivers License and own transportation are required
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Attention to details, on time and honest
Proficient multi-tasking abilities
The ability to work well independently and as a team member
Must possess exceptional customer service skills and professionalism along with a positive personality and high level of energy.
Proven communications skills and ability to work positively in a team environment and respond well to direction.

Working conditions:
Flexible, must be willing to work a variety of hours, including days, nights as well as weekends and holidays based on the business needs

Physical requirements:
Constant standing and walking throughout shift for up to 8 hours
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy suitcases and other items
Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
