Join the Front Office Team at Sparkling Hill Resort! We currently have a position available for a full-time Reservations Agent. Reporting to the Front Office Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager, this role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and answer a variety of questions about the resort.

Duties Include:

- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the hotel in order to accurately answer guest inquiries
- Answer internal and external emails, phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department
- Book and modify room reservations
- Be knowledgeable about rates and packages in order to quote guests the appropriate rate
- Arrange transportation, wine tours and other services for guests as required
- Assist the Front Desk Agents with duties such as check ins and check outs when required
- Receive and respond to guest concerns in a courteous manner and direct them to the appropriate manager when necessary
- Ship packages via appropriate courier for guests or on behalf of the resort
- Prepare reports
- Anticipate guest needs in order to provide seamless and exceptional service
- Communicate with other departments such as Restaurant and Housekeeping in regards to guest requests or needs
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Previous Reservations, Front Desk, or other hospitality experience preferred
- Previous experience with Maestro Property Management system an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team as well as independently
- Able to focus on guest needs, remain calm and professional at all times
- Ability to efficiently multi-task in a high pressure working environment
- Able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Some overtime may be required
- Must have reliable transportation
