Moraine Lake’s glacially fed blue-green waters are visited each summer by thousands of travellers from over all over the world. Some guests will stay and enjoy the amenities in our beautiful Lodge, while others will visit for the day or just a few moments to get that iconic photograph. Our goal is to ensure that through our attitude and service, our guests have an exceptional, or as we say ‘WOW’, experience.

The Café & Canoes Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Snowshoe Café, patio and canoe dock. This position requires strong multi-tasking skills and its main responsibilities include but are not limited to; training team on standards (safety and guest services), ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed, maintaining product inventories, scheduling team members, monitoring labor budget and achieving sales targets. This is a hands on position that requires covering shifts and working closely side by side with the team. The Café & Canoes Supervisor is expected to attend weekly supervisor’s meetings and be committed to promoting a positive team work environment. In addition, they will need to have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week,
• Salary with an end of contract bonus,
• Staff accommodation onsite, $15.00/day, includes all meals and laundry.
• May 15, 2018 – October 3, 2018 (TBC),
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada prior to offer of employment.
• Min. 1 yr. in a supervisory role, with experience in food and beverage,
• Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality,
• Previous hotel experience, an asset,
• Food Safety Certificate, an asset,
• Second language, an asset,
• Outdoor enthusiast, a passion for hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains,
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
