Moraine Lake’s glacially fed blue-green waters are visited each summer by thousands of travellers from over all over the world. Some guests will stay and enjoy the amenities in our beautiful Lodge, while others will visit for the day or just a few moments to get that iconic photograph. Our goal is to ensure that through our attitude and service, our guests have an exceptional, or as we say ‘WOW’, experience.

The Fine Dining Supervisor is responsible for guest and food service in the Walter Wilcox Dining Room and library at Moraine Lake Lodge. This role supervises the everyday operations of the dining room; scheduling, managing and training dining room team to ensure quality service for our guests; cleanliness and organization of dining room and service areas; ordering and inventory; ensuring opening and closing procedures are followed and monitoring expenses and revenue for dining room. This position also requires the Dining Room Supervisor to be a working server. The Fine Dining Supervisor is expected to attend weekly supervisor’s meetings and be committed to promoting a positive team work environment. In addition, they will need to have strong organizational and communication skills. They must have a strong working relationship with the Chef de Cuisine, General Manager, and Owners.
• Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week,
• Salary with an end of contract bonus,
• Staff accommodation onsite, $15.00/day, includes all meals and laundry.
• May 15, 2018 – October 2, 2018 (TBC),
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada prior to offer of employment.
• 2 or more yrs. fine dining experience with wine service,
• Min. 1 yr. fine dining supervisory experience,
• Proserve certificate or equivalent,
• Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive & upbeat personality,
• Previous tourism/hospitality experience, as asset,
• Outdoor enthusiast, a passion for hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains,
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
